Sustainable Transport, Mobility & Infrastructure

NTU in the Transport and Mobility sector

NTU embarked on its journey in the transport sector two decades ago and has since been committed to fostering sustainable, inclusive, and resilient infrastructure aligned with cutting-edge technology, innovative organisational practices, and lately, the principles of the EU's Global Gateway strategy and the SDGs. NTU focus on improving transport corridors to enable more integrated supply chains, smoother trade flows, and enhanced mobility for people and goods across regions.

Our extensive expertise spans a wide spectrum of projects, including sustainable road, rail, maritime, aviation, logistics, and urban transportation systems. We prioritise enhancing connectivity, promoting green mobility, and supporting the digitalisation of transport networks. Over the years, NTU has partnered with a diverse range of actors, including governments, development agencies, private enterprises, public institutions, academia, and civil society organisations, fostering inclusive and transparent partnerships.

Our services cover strategy and programming support, project preparation and implementation, advisory support on regulatory and institutional matters, capacity building, knowledge creation and dissemination, climate action mitigation and adaptation and financing of infrastructure.

We emphasise socio-economic development by ensuring that projects contribute to environmental sustainability, transport safety, gender equality and empowerment, social inclusion, trade facilitation, and seamless cross-border connectivity. NTU also places a strong emphasis on knowledge management and capacity development, offering formal workshops, hands-on training, awareness campaigns, and research dissemination. This approach promotes best practices, knowledge transfer, and lessons learned, ensuring projects are both innovative and sustainable.

Our work is always conducted in close cooperation with key stakeholders, reflecting our dedication to delivering projects that are not only successful but also sustainable for the long term. We remain committed to leveraging public and private investments, ensuring regulatory harmonisation, and adhering to high environmental and social standards, ultimately benefiting communities, economies, and global trade routes.
