We’re pleased to officially kick off the awarded SEA Lot 13
We’re pleased to officially kick off the awarded SEA Lot 13 - Health, social inclusion and protection, inequalities, assignment titled ''Technical Support for MAV+ Partners''.
Last week, our team arrived in Ghana and held the first in-person meeting with the National Vaccine Institute (NVI) and the EU Delegation (EUD), marking an important milestone at the start of the project.
NTU experts, together with representatives from the EU Delegation, met with the CEO of the National Vaccine Institute (NVI), and his team. Discussions focused on the need to build biomanufacturing capacity, strengthen regulatory systems, and support commercialisation and market access.
Over the 18-month implementation, the assignment will support the National Vaccine Institute (NVI), the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA), and the Ghana Standards Authority (GSA) in strengthening institutional capacity and coordination, in line with the Team Europe Initiative on Manufacturing and Access to Vaccines, Medicines and Health Technologies (MAV+).
We are ready for this close collaboration and targeted technical assistance to contribute to a sustainable and resilient vaccine manufacturing ecosystem in Ghana.
