SDG vox pop
NTU’s Managing Director recently participated in a vox pop event organized by the Danish Trade council, which highlights Danish companies’ efforts to achieve UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals. During the event, NTU were asked to detail our climate related work, covering goal no. 13 – Climate Action. As always, we welcomed the opportunity to discuss climate-friendly development.

Added focus on climate consulting
We are happy to see that our continuous climate-related work in Africa is gaining notice in Denmark. For us, climate-friendly is key to ensure a sustainable future. A great example of this is our Zambia renewable energy project, where NTU is providing technical assistance to the Rural Electrification Authority of Zambia in the development of demonstration projects for renewable energy and energy efficiency in Zambia. The project will help increase access to clean, reliable and affordable energy, and promote renewable energy production and energy efficiency in Zambia. NTU’s support is targeted to fostering the government's rural electrification efforts, as well as the construction of resilient infrastructure in the energy sector, promoting inclusive and sustainable industrialization, and addressing energy poverty in rural areas.
