NTU Awarded New Feasibility Study on Decarbonisation of Heating Supply in Bogatynia, Poland

NTU International A/S has been awarded a new assignment to conduct a comprehensive feasibility study for the decarbonisation of the district heating system in the town of Bogatynia, Poland. The project is implemented under the Framework Contract (FWC) EIBAS Activities Inside and Outside EU27 - Lot 2: Energy.

With a duration of ten months and a total budget of EUR 160,000, the study will support Bogatynia in its transition towards cleaner and more sustainable heating solutions.

 

Project Objectives

The feasibility study will focus on:

  • Analysing the current district heating system in Bogatynia;

  • Identifying and evaluating options for the future heat supply;

  • Conducting a multicriteria analysis to select the preferred heat supply option;

  • Developing an investment plan for the implementation of the recommended solution.
