𝗡𝗧𝗨 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔/𝗦 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗘-𝗜𝗜 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗞𝗵𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝗸𝗵𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗸𝗵𝘄𝗮, 𝗣𝗮𝗸𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻

With an implementation period of 30 months and an incidental expenditure budget of EUR 3 million, this EU-funded project will support the Pakhtunkhwa Energy Development Organisation (PEDO) in strengthening climate-resilient hydropower development, institutional capacity, and sustainable energy governance in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The technical assistance will focus on:

• Strengthening PEDO's institutional and operational capacity
• Enhancing community participation and stakeholder engagement in hydropower development
• Improving governance, monitoring, and maintenance of hydropower infrastructure
• Strengthening occupational safety and risk management systems
• Preparing feasibility studies for new hydropower projects with a combined capacity of 50 MW

This assignment further strengthens NTU International's experience in hydropower development, climate resilience, institutional capacity building, and sustainable energy infrastructure.
