NTU International A/S awarded a new EIB-funded assignment – Supporting the development of Giga-Watt Battery Cells in Europe

In this context, NTU International A/S is proud to contribute to the Giga-Watt Cells project, supporting the development and scale-up of advanced lithium-ion battery cells for heavy-duty applications. The project aims to strengthen Europe’s strategic autonomy in battery manufacturing while advancing high-performance, energy-efficient, and sustainable solutions.
Our role includes delivering specialised technical advisory services covering:
 🔹 Innovation and technology maturity assessment,
 🔹 Benchmarking against state-of-the-art battery solutions,
 🔹 Industrial scale-up and manufacturing risk analysis,
 🔹 Strengthening the project’s investment readiness.

Through this work, we contribute to building a more resilient European battery value chain and accelerating the transition towards low-carbon, energy-intensive industries.
