New Award in SEA LOT 13 - 2 years EU TA to Healthcare sector in Guyana

We are happy to announce that NTU International has recently been awarded an assignment in Guyana’s health sector that aims to support the transformation of healthcare in Guyana, placing the nation as a regional hub for health services. Throughout the next 2 years, the NTU International A/S team will support the Government of Guyana with the overall financial health planning process of the Ministry of Health.

Guyana, the only English-speaking country in South America, has experienced significant economic growth, mainly thanks to its oil and gas production. As a result, investment in health has substantially increased focusing on achieving Universal Health Coverage (UHC). As part of this initiative, the EU has also prioritised health through the Global Gateway Initiative strategy deepening its cooperation with Latin America and the Caribbean in healthcare. Key objectives of the assignment include:

Provision of advice/analysis to the Ministry of Health on health financing/budgeting and resource allocation/utilization.
Supporting health financial data collection and analysis to guide decision making in the Ministry of Health.
