Lot 6: Macro-economic analysis, Fiscal policies, PFM, Budget support

The activities under SEA Lot 6 are provided in a variety of domains. NTU provides specialised support within this field in strategic planning and macroeconomic analysis, public finance management (PFM) and its digital dimension, domestic revenue mobilisation, budget support, sustainability of public finances, green and gender budgeting, and addressing non-economic factors of economic issues. In addition, we are also working towards good governance enhancement, including the greater use of administrative data for evidence-based decision-making, and the Rule of Law promotion through monitoring, analysis and recommendations development.  

Our horizontal services provide comprehensive support in key areas to ensure effective policy development, project implementation and knowledge sharing. We provide policy support, including analysis, EU policy alignment and multi-stakeholder dialogue to promote effective decision-making. Project and intervention support ranges from programming and strategic design to practical implementation, such as integration of EU priorities, support for EFSD+ and legal and regulatory analysis. NTU also provides analytical and technical expertise, offering data-driven insights, intervention cycle management and specialised scientific input. Finally, our knowledge management services improve communication, capacity building and dissemination of best practices through training, public engagement and high-impact events.
