SEA 2023 Lot 14 covers 8 sectors, namely: Support to legal migration and mobility; Addressing irregular migration; Response to forced displacement; Addressing root causes of irregular migration and forced displacement; Support to migration governance; Migration and development; Protection of migrants; Collection, analysis and dissemination of migration/forced displacement-related data.

Within SEA Lot 14, NTU provides support in empowering the key players in the migration sector, both internationally and domestically. Our approach strikes a vital balance between achieving security objectives and safeguarding the human rights of migrants. We focus on strengthening governance by fostering collaboration and enhancing the efficiency of stakeholders, while also boosting the capabilities of public authorities managing migration. Our support extends to improving technical capacities for seamless coordination, better decision-making, and increased transparency. Most importantly, NTU champions citizen engagement in migration decision-making, a crucial part of democratic governance.

Our horizontal services provide comprehensive support in key areas to ensure effective policy development, project implementation and knowledge sharing. We provide policy support, including analysis, EU policy alignment and multi-stakeholder dialogue to promote effective decision-making. Project and intervention support ranges from programming and strategic design to practical implementation, such as integration of EU priorities, support for EFSD+ and legal and regulatory analysis. NTU also provides analytical and technical expertise, offering data-driven insights, intervention cycle management and specialised scientific input. Finally, our knowledge management services improve communication, capacity building and dissemination of best practices through training, public engagement and high-impact events.
