SEA 2023 Lot 1 covers the following 4 sectors: Climate Change, which focuses on resilience, adaptation, mitigation, and mainstreaming environmental and disaster risk reduction (DRR) strategies. Sustainable Energy, encompassing renewable energy, modern power grids, energy market regulations, institutional frameworks, electrification, and energy efficiency. Nuclear Safety, covering power plant operations, safety regulations, waste management, emergency preparedness, decommissioning, and training. Lastly, Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), which includes risk management, climate-related disaster finance, and insurance solutions.
Our horizontal services provide comprehensive support in key areas to ensure effective policy development, project implementation and knowledge sharing. We provide policy support, including analysis, EU policy alignment and multi-stakeholder dialogue to promote effective decision-making. Project and intervention support ranges from programming and strategic design to practical implementation, such as integration of EU priorities, support for EFSD+ and legal and regulatory analysis. NTU also provides analytical and technical expertise, offering data-driven insights, intervention cycle management and specialised scientific input. Finally, our knowledge management services improve communication, capacity building and dissemination of best practices through training, public engagement and high-impact events.
