NTU International has been collaborating with the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) since 2016. That year, we launched our partnership through the first Framework Contract (FWC), “Provision of Logistical Support under FWC Services in Support of EASA International Cooperation Activities – Aviation Consulting and Training Services.” This contract spanned from June 2016 to November 2020.
We have been awarded three consecutive framework contracts over the span of 12 years:
-
1st Edition: June 2016 – November 2020
-
2nd Edition: December 2020 – December 2024
-
3rd Edition: January 2025 – January 2029
The core missions of EASA are ensuring air safety for European citizens and protecting the environment. With European citizens travelling globally and foreign carriers operating in Europe daily, EASA collaborates with the European Commission and international partners to enhance aviation safety worldwide. Through technical assistance activities, the Agency helps countries and regional safety oversight organizations (RSOOs) strengthen their regulatory frameworks and oversight capabilities. Additionally, EASA supports strategic aviation partnerships between the European Union and foreign countries.
Under this FWC, NTU provided support to EASA’s international cooperation projects, offering technical expertise in regulatory exchanges and technical training. Our services also included project management support, human resource management for all international cooperation projects, and logistical and event management services to ensure the smooth implementation of EASA’s global initiatives. Over the course of the contract, NTU successfully executed logistical services for 219 specific contracts and organised more than 200 seminars, workshops, and conferences, hosting over 1,100 participants.
