Sustainable Growth in Action: EU Support for PNG’s Development Pathway

Papua New Guinea is a country rich in natural resources. However, it fights against high levels of poverty, limited infrastructure, and vulnerability to natural disasters exacerbated by climate change. This is why the Government of PNG announced its Medium-Term Development Plan IV for 2023-2027, in which the EU is a key partner supporting the articulation of a comprehensive policy plan. This support is crucial for achieving sustainable development goals (SDGs), improving public service delivery, and enhancing governance and resilience against socio-economic and environmental shocks.
