NTU to Lead EIBAS lot 2 Feasibility Study on Greener Heating in Partizánske, Slovakia
 
                Supporting the decarbonisation of district heating systems under the EIBAS Framework – Lot 2: Energy.
NTU International A/S has been awarded a new assignment under the Framework Contract (FWC) EIBAS – Lot 2: Energy, titled “Decarbonisation of Heating Systems in the City of Partizánske.”
With a total budget of EUR 150,000 and a duration of ten months, the project aims to support the City of Partizánske in its transition from fossil fuel-based heating systems to efficient, renewable energy-based solutions. This initiative contributes to the green transition objectives of both Slovakian and EU energy policies.
Project Objective
The main objective of this assignment is to conduct a feasibility study for the decarbonisation of the city’s heating supply. The study will include:
- Analysis of the existing heating systems;
- Identification of options for the future heat supply;
- Multicriteria analysis of the identified options, recommending the optimal path and investment plan.
Through this assignment, NTU International continues to support local and regional partners in advancing sustainable and energy-efficient solutions in line with EU decarbonisation goals.
