EU DAY Georgia

The EU Delegation to Georgia brought Europe Day celebrations to Batumi on 21 June, with the event opened by Ambassador Pawel Herczynski at the Sheraton Batumi Hotel.

Visitors of all ages enjoyed interactive exhibits, cultural performances, and educational activities organised by EU Member State Embassies and EU-funded organisations.

Highlights included the Bookshelf educational game, presentations by EU-funded projects showcasing their impact in Georgia, and the “Unique Georgian Taste” agro-market featuring local products from Georgian farmers.

The celebration concluded with a concert by the popular Georgian bands Killages and Mechanical Rainbow.
