NTU organized the Workshop Digitalization and Management Information Systems
On June 13th, the NTU International team in Tajikistan held its first workshop on "Digitalization and Management Information Systems," attended by over 35 staff members from key departments within three major energy sector agencies: "Shabaqahoi Intiqoli Barq," "Shabaqahoi Taqsimoti Barq," and "Barqi Tojik.
The workshop began with an introduction to the topic. The digitalization component includes expert tasks, their presentations, and expected outcomes. Core themes involve the role of Management Information Systems (MIS), the integration of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and MIS benefits. It also covers challenges, success factors, and the required preparatory phase.
This phase includes defining organizational and functional scope, process maturity, survey methodology, and timeline, while coordinating with other teams. The survey aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the current state and inform the development of an action plan for the second phase.
