NTU International A/S is proud to announce the successful completion of the first technical mission in Malawi.
NTU International A/S is proud to announce the successful completion of the first technical mission for the Technical, Environmental, and Social Audits of the M1 Road Rehabilitation Project in Malawi.
From 27 April to 1 May 2026, our team conducted site visits across all four project lots, covering key sections from KIA to Chiweta. During this initial mission, we engaged with key stakeholders, assessed progress across multiple road sections, and gathered valuable insights into implementation, challenges, and opportunities to strengthen delivery.
This mission represents an important step in supporting the effective implementation and long-term impact of this strategic infrastructure initiative.
The M1 Road Rehabilitation Project contributes to improved connectivity, safer mobility, and stronger transport links in Malawi and the wider region. It also aligns with Team Europe’s commitment to sustainable infrastructure, regional integration, and the development of strategic transport corridors across Africa, under the broader vision of the EU Global Gateway.
At NTU International, we are committed to supporting high-quality EU investments that promote sustainable development, resilient infrastructure, environmental and social responsibility, and inclusive economic growth.
This is the first of several planned missions, through which our team will continue to monitor progress, promote best practices, and contribute to the successful completion of the project.
