NTU International CEO, Lars Bentzen, met Tuesday 7/6 with the President of the African Development Bank, Dr. Akinwumi Ayodeji Adesina, in Copenhagen, for a high level roundtable. The President of AfDB invited for more cooperation with Danish companies – especially on Energy, which is also a core-competence of NTU International A/S. Other sectors, such as transport corridors, civil aviation and health were discussed during the meeting. New and innovative approaches, such as innovative skills development, empowerment and horizontal capacity development were pointed at. Lars Bentzen appreciated the existing good cooperation between the Bank and NTU as FIDIC consulting engineer – and welcomed the comprehensive reform on both the organization, the decentralization as well as the planned upgrading of the procurement processes.
