NTU Awarded mew project under FWC SEA Lot 1: “RfS FWC - CRM Support BR”- Brazil
NTU International is proud to announce a new 36-month assignment, with a budget of €475,590, to deliver initiatives aiming to strengthen cooperation with Brazil for the development of sustainable Critical Raw Materials (CRM) value chains. This important initiative supports the Directorate-General for International Partnerships (INTPA), identifying and mobilising relevant EU and Brazilian stakeholders, especially the EU private sector and Development Finance Institutions (DFIs), around concrete investment, cooperation and business opportunities in Brazil.
Specific Objectives:
- Assist relevant actors in launching dialogue with Brazilian partners, led by the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME).
- Help define and implement an integrated strategy and methodology to advance the EU-Brazil CRM cooperation, including, at a later stage, a potential strategic partnership on raw materials value chains between the EU and Brazil.
- Mobilise the EU and Brazilian private sector for the implementation of the strategy, including the identification of stakeholders and value chains for potential investments and support to the definition of business cases and value propositions around identified interested parties, and areas of opportunity for investment and alignment.
- Perform mapping and analysis of the mining sector in Brazil and in Europe to support the outreach to actors, industries, and companies identified to verify interest in specific investment opportunities in Brazil and build connections with and among EU stakeholders.
