Engineering Technical Verification of the Shelter Reconstruction Project
The main objective of this verification is to check and evaluate the shelter reconstruction project component vis-à-vis the expected project Result 3; to establish an informed base for immediate improvements in the concerned shelters; to draw lessons for future similar shelter reconstruction projects.
NTU tasks will be as following:
Detailed description of the damages or faults in the 66 reconstructed shelters in Jerash Camp.
Inspect quality of implemented construction work from the functional and structural point of each of the reconstructed shelters.
Make an analysis and diagnosis of the damages' possible causes.
Advice on necessity and feasibility of remedial works and establish detailed scope of remedial works on the shelters accordingly.
Establish the needed budget for remedial works.
