NTU is short-listed as consortium leader for the EU funded project "PRODEPEMES–ESTRADA, Support to development a programme for Small and Medium Enterprises in road maintenance" in Mozambique. The main objectives of the program are: (i) to contribute to job creation and promotion and (ii) to contribute to increased agriculture and fisheries production through the provision of improvements to the road network. The specific objectives of the program are: (i) to improve the quality of road maintenance works performed by existing SMEs and (ii) to increase market access to the best performing SMEs. The implementation of the program, PRODEPEMES will be done through a series of actions that have been grouped in two areas: 1. Training program for SME contractors and consultants. 2. Supporting actions to the SMEs
