NTU is enhancing skills in Zambian civil aviation through the Workshop on Universal Safety Audit Programme (USOAP) The workshop was held between the 18th and 20th of March 2014 and comprised 3 full days of intensive training, comprising of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part of the workshop was designed and conducted in six modules: · Module 1. Introduction · Module 2. Overview and updates of the USOAP CMA · Module 3. Introduction to the amendment of protocol questions · Module 4. How to complete PQs and how to update CAP · Module 5. USOAP CMA – Annex 19 SSP Rollout · Module 6. Updates to the CMA Online Framework The practical part, stretching on two days, comprised mainly of Demonstrations and Group Exercises. The main task of the workshop attended by 21 participants from different departments of the DCA Zambia was: ICAO Continuous Monitoring Approach (CMA) Online Framework (OLF) All participants , DCA staff , during the course got a knowledge on how to update corrective actions, answer to PQs, electronic filing of differences and other aspects of the USOAP . This will enable the Sections of the DCA to update their status of implementation of their CAPs and general implementation of SARPs to ICAO online.
