The overall objective of the project is to perform an exercise of integrated planning and design including urban, hydraulic and transport design components. The studies hydraulics and hydrology will be concentrated mostly on performing the detailed design of urgent securing measures to protect again floods. For urban design the purpose of the study is focused on medium and long term planning for which NTU shall make different proposal in order to guide the decision maker towards the best option. In transport the objectives are both to study short term measures to improve traffic conditions as well as to perform a comparative study between two different network layouts or the medium and long term planning. Contract value – 500 000 EUR Project duration – 28 weeks
